Description

This asbestos awareness training will provide attendees with basic, general awareness of the dangers associated with asbestos and measures required to protect their safety. This awareness day, if required, would also give safe working knowledge of the appropriate actions to take upon encountering asbestos or for planned minor asbestos works.

Who should attend

Building and premises owners and anyone else who has responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. The awareness day will also be particularly useful for those who currently are at most risk from inadvertent exposure to asbestos such as maintenance personnel, electricians, plumbers, fitters, painters and decorators, demolition and construction workers, roofers, telecommunications engineers, fire and burglar alarm installers, computer installers and building surveyors.
